I remember back in middle school when I was in India, all the teachers treated girls far better than the boys as they consider them more disciplined and obedient. They were given more leniency and opportunities compared to the boys. The guy often got the harsher punishments and got picked on a lot more which I thought was unjust. Most guys I knew including myself felt that they didn’t belong in the environment that was created in schools. Guys even experienced violence from the teachers and its significantly worse in public schools which leads to them dropping out. If a guy and a girl get in a conflict, the teachers would always favor the girl over the guy irrespective of the fact that who’s fault it is. Often times they won’t even listen to the guys perspective. Girls were appointed were appointed for positions like class president and guys were given yard duty. Teachers focused on teaching the girls and ignored the guys.
